Secret Airport Tips
Traveling brings happiness to most of us, but the process of getting there is probably the most unpleasant part. The airport is a blessing because it gets us from point A to point B in rapid time but it’s also a curse because it can be expensive, a waste of time, dirty and other calamities. Being fortunate enough to have travelled throughout my life, I’ve tested and gathered some unique tips to make your traveling experience as smoothly, safely and happily as possible!
Pre-Travel
1- Always try to check in online! That way you can choose your seat and not have to deal with any guess at the airport.
2- Stop by the grocery store and purchase a pre-packed meal, in addition to other snacks depending on the length of your flight. If you’re more price conscious, make a meal at home and take it in a container!
3- Bring an empty water bottle! All airports have water fountains and when you’re on the plane simply ask the flight attendant to fill your bottle instead. Not only do you save money and plastic but you also prevent any spills.
4- Netflix finally has the option for you to download movies and television shows under WIFI, so before heading out choose a couple that interest you and get to downloading!
During Travel
1- If you weren’t able to check in online, approach the attendants of your flight and ask if they can move you. Make sure you’re as friendly as possible!
2- Usually, most people take a carry on bag rather than check one in. This leads the airline to force some customers into checking their bags right before boarding. If the airline staff, unfortunately, chooses you, simply tell them that you have a short connection and they’ll let you through!
3- Another tactic that could get you and your bag through is by having a digital copy of your boarding pass. Since you’re the one scanning your ticket the airline staff can’t see which group you’re in so you can board slightly earlier!
I hope these tips will improve your experience when dealing with airports! Don’t let one little bump in your journey ruin your trip.
