Rubin Report - Listening to the other side

Do you remember the old days when you could have a conversation with someone of opposing views without triggering them, without clawing at each other's throats? Do you like listening to the other side?

If yes, then tune into the Rubin Report. Dave Rubin, stand up comedian who also hosted at 'The Young Turks' earlier in his career, holds a talk with guests ranging from all backgrounds. Guests include Ben Shapiro, Dennis Prager, Larry Elder, Lauren Southern, John McCain, Gary Johnson, Don Lemon, and many more. The video is then broadcasted on YouTube.

His videos fall into three categories: The Panel, The Direct Message, and The Sit Down. The Panel is "a free form discussion about current events and hot topics featuring two outspoken guests including authors, comedians, and thought leaders. (http://www.rubinreport.com/about#home). Through the Direct Message, Dave speaks directly to the audience, providing them with an insight into his own take-on events and topics. The Sit Down is the discussion held with different guests.

Something very special about this show is that it is fully fan funded, thus fully connecting Dave with his audience. This reveals how well Dave has been able to produce meaningful content, which in turn has helped people in hearing the other side, and thus allowing for an exchange of ideas. This concept has been the essence of his show since Dave started airing a few years ago.

I personally encountered some of his work back in 2015 when he interviewed Milo Yiannopoulos, who was at the time, on the rise. Needless to say, I was hooked and can proudly say it has opened my eyes to many issues, and pushed me into reading more about the guests and their own work. I have two favorite interviews, with Larry Elder and with Tommy Sotomayor. These two guests have gone through lengths to debunk American black culture, being constantly destroyed by mainstream media, Hollywood, and the Democratic Party. It is learning more about interesting people like them, and the ideas they hold, that make me such a fan of this show.

I invite you all to go on www.youtube.com/rubinreport and check out his work. Hopefully his work will help you see issues from a different perspective.
