IEU Student Government Update
Dear IE Community, dear students,
We from the IEU Student Government would like to take this opportunity to wish you a happy new year and a warm welcome back to the university! We hope you enjoyed your holidays and are now full of energy and motivation to start this new semester.
Also, congratulations to the Stork team for the first issue of our new newspaper! We believe this is a great initiative and something that we were missing at our university, so we are very happy to see this new project taking form.
My name is Angie and I am the IEU Student Government’s Community Development Officer. From now onwards, I will be writing for the Stork and publishing a bi-weekly update for all of you about any projects we are working on, meetings we have had, things we have achieved or any other important dates or events we think could be of interest for the students.
We all believe that this is a great channel of communication for us to use next to our social media channels to keep you informed about everything we are doing. However, if you have any questions about any of our projects, you have a general concern or a complaint, or also a great idea that you think we should try to implement, please do not hesitate to reach out to us on our social media pages on Facebook and Instagram, or personally during our on-campus Office Hours or simply when you see any of us around campus.
As it is the first week of the semester, I thought I would start this series off by providing you with a little overview of some of the main things we have done last semester:

As you can see, it has been quite a busy semester for us! But we are also very excited to get to work again and make all the ideas and plans we have for this semester a reality, as well as to hear from all of you and your great inputs! However, more about the plans we already have for this semester in two weeks!
Until then, I hope you have a great week!
